Chloe Neath  Artist

CoLab brought together Chloe Neath and 'The Laudanum Project' to combine their creativity and love of horror.

"I had seen Ballad of The Plague Doctor performed live by 'The Laudanum Project' at The Craig's Hotel basement in Ballarat and fell in love with the disturbing yet beautiful language of the play.

I had been working on a portrait of a woman recoiling in horror but it was only when I heard 'The Laudanum Project's' spoken version of The Spider and The Fly that I realised the drawing needed long, black, elegant spider legs reaching towards the woman's face." Chloe Neath

The 'Spider' drawing, the printed poem and the recorded version of The Spider and The Fly (with headphones) were displayed as a combined art piece.
